Rocking Chair Chili

Just about when leaves all fall off, it’s time to get the crock-pot out and fix a mess of chili for the good folks who have unexpectedly come to stay for a few days.   We have a show-stopper we call Rocking Chair Chili, because once you get the ingredients thrown together, all you do is pour in a jar of Rod Gentry’s Grillin Thauth, light the fire, and sit yourself down for a long nap in a rocking chair.  There’s nothing else to do!  You can add a little “found” meat  to enhance the chew.  Rabbits, grouse, and if you have an afternoon to get all the bones out; squirrel are all good bets.    rocking chair chili
