The Best Pot Roast Ever

This pot roast is best made the day ahead, chilled and then reheated.

Ingredients
  • 4 pounds Beef Chuck
  • 3/4 cup Rod Gentrys Grillin’ Thauth
  • 1/2 cup Water
Directions
In a saute pan or on the grill, brown the beef on all sides.  Generously sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Place roast in a crock pot or dutch oven.  Pour water and Thauth over the roast, cover, and cook at 275 (oven) or on Low (crock pot) for 5 hours or until the meat falls apart easily.  Chill it, covered, overnight and the next day remove fat from juices and from within the meat, as desired.  Reheat and serve with pan sauce.  Serves 6 to 8.
