Yardbird Pizza 2

Servings: 2 servings
Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Pizza dough ball
  • 1/2 cup Rod Gentry Yardbird Sweet Sauce
  • 1 count Yellow onion, cut into 1/2 inch strips
  • 3 ounces Gorgonzola Cheese
  • 2 ounces Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Mild banana pepper rings
Directions
Using a cast iron skillet, cook the onions in some olive oil using moderately-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the natural sugars in the onions begin to caramelize (about 10 minutes).  Remove onions from heat.  Roll out the dough onto a lightly oiled sheet pan, and top with sauce, cheeses, garlic, banana peppers and onions.  Bake at 450 until done.  Mmmmmm.  Serves 2.
